Frequently asked questions.

What is contrast therapy at Teddy's?

Alternating hot sauna and cold plunge sessions improves mind-body healing through heat and cold exposure.

What’s the recommended protocol?

Heat up in the dry sauna for about 15 minutes, cool down with a 30-second to 3-minute shoulder-submerged plunge after an outdoor rinse, then relax and rehydrate before repeating.

What temperatures should I expect?

Our dry sauna is typically around 200°F, and our three cold plunges range from 32°F to 50°F: the coldest is between 31–36°F, the middle one is around 42°F, and the warmest is about 50°F.all the difference.

How do I get started at Teddy's?

People can sign up for an account to get started - either under "book a session", or come into Teddy’sHot House and we can help get them signed up!

What should I wear and bring?

Bring your swimsuit, a water bottle, and an open mind! No need to bring towels - 2 provided with every visit. Facilities focus on community comfort in hot saunas, cold tubs, and warm vibes.

What’s included in a visit?

Unlimited hot sauna, cold tubs, outdoor showers, relaxation areas, and community support during your session. Two towels are included with each visit, and we also have lockers available to store your personal belongings.

Are there any restrictions?

wimsuits required (no underwear, please!), hydrate well, and respect the protocol for group harmony. Please, no phone calls/video calls in the shared spaces as this can disrupt other guests' experience.

Are facilities safe and clean?

Yes! We take pride in keeping the space clean and safe for our guests. Our ice baths purify water using a two-pronged approach: microfiltration physically removes particles, and a powerful ozone (O3) disinfection system sanitizes the water. This combination keeps the water clear and fresh for extended periods without requiring chlorine. The ozone disinfection system causes our tubs to look a little sudsy at times, but this is just the O3 at work! The tubs, as well as the sauna, are also cleaned by hand regularly. Guests are required to rinse off in one of our outdoor showers before getting into any of the tubs. Cleanliness and safety are our top priorities.

Who should participate? Is it beginner-friendly?

Ideal for seasoned pros or first-timers; listen to your body and consult a doctor if new to exposure therapy. Teddy’s is beginner-friendly - guidance helps everyone find comfort in discomfort, from pros to newcomers.

Do you offer events?
